„Wirbelstrom“ (englisch: eddy current) heißt Schwalbes erster speziell fürs E-MTB entwickelter Reifen - für All Mountain, Enduro und Gravity. Vorn 29 x 2.4 Zoll, hinten 27.5 x 2.8 Zoll lautet die ultimative Devise. Die beiden Reifengrößen kombinieren ihre Vorteile zu einem stimmigen Gesamtkonzept. Die Blocks sind um rund 20 Prozent größer als beispielsweise bei Magic Mary. Das Resultat: höhere Stabilität, mehr Traktion und längere Haltbarkeit.
Addix Soft Compound
The rubber compound and tread work together in perfect synergy: While excellent grip and optimal damping properties on the shoulder blocks make the tire easy to control, the compound in the center rolls smoothly and has long durability despite high torque.
Super Gravity carcass
Five layers of fabric under the tread surface and four on the sidewall provide reliable puncture protection. Riders can rely on them, even on extreme downhill tracks.
FRONT
29 INCHES
Eddy Current Front tires provide dependable cornering and better rolling properties than smaller tires. With its open tread and aggressive block pattern, the Eddy Current allows especially precise control.
REAR
27.5 INCHES
Eddy Current Rear tires dig deep into the ground when you brake and converts the full power of the motor into propulsion during acceleration. The large footprint of the 2.8-inch-wide tire and the sturdy center blocks provide the necessary traction.
